We have a great opportunity for a Legal Assistant to join our Public Liability team in Sydney on a full time basis.
Our Public
Liability team support clients that have been injured in a public place such as
a shopping centre, carpark or footpath.
This could also include dog attacks,
physical assaults or sporting accidents.
This role will have you responsible for providing support to our busy team, with ongoing training and development.
Your daily duties will include:Providing a great level of care and support to our clients in a professional mannerBuilding strong relationships with our clients, internal and external stakeholdersSupporting the team with general file management and administrationCoordinating appointments for our lawyers, medico-legal appointments for our clients, conferences and mediationsCommunicating with clients, insurers and other professionals both in writing and verballyPreparing legal correspondence and compiling court documentsPreparing matters for conferences and hearings.What will you bring?
You will be an experienced Legal Assistant with a passion for social justice and generating positive outcomes for clients.
The following experience and skills will ensure your success in this position: Previous experience in legal support or business administrationA natural passion for helping people and high level of empathyExceptional experience in communication and customer serviceExcellent written and drafting skillsRecognise the importance of attention to detail and time managementDemonstrated organisational skills and the ability to multi-task Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environmentA willingness to learnProactive approach and initiativeAvailable to work 38 hours per week, between the hours of 8:30am – 5pm Monday to Friday
