**ABOUT THE ROLE**

This role is a Permanent position on a Continuous shift roster day/night even time DIDO to our Boddington Bauxite Mine, is located a short drive from the community of Boddington (10 minutes), Pinjarra (50 minutes) and the City of Mandurah (1 hour).

As the Supervisor Mining Production, you will be responsible to supervise the execution of production activities undertaken by front-line operational personnel in line with the production plan and targets for safety, culture, volume and cost. Ensure physical assets and equipment are operated as defined by the HSEC requirements, the operations standards and operating procedures.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:

- Monitoring and managing operational performance, productivity and other KPI's
- Perform frequent workplace and equipment inspections to ensure ongoing safety, reliability and compliance.
- Develop, understand and communicate both the weekly and shift production plan.
- Understand and manage costs associated with the production plan.
- Provide direction and support to direct reports.
- Spend appropriate time in the field to supervise the execution of the operations plan to achieve established KPI targets at a shift and crew level.
- Ensure Mining Production activities are conducted safely by competent personnel in accordance with the relevant standards and operating procedures.
- Ability to strategically assign or reassign work, interpreting policy, explaining and providing a framework for projects.

**ABOUT YOU**

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

- Hold a current 'C' class driver's license.
- Proficiency in the Mining Production area with a minimum experience of between 5-7 years
- Detailed knowledge of procedures related to the operation of the department.
- Previous supervisor experience with a minimum of 2-4 years
- Desirable S26 Supervisor competency
- Competence with 1SAP, MS Office and Fleet Management Systems

Desirable Qualifications for this position are:

- Formal leadership qualification
- Holds a Supervisor Section 26 Appointment
- Quarry Manager certification
