About the Role
House Supervisors manage the day-to-day operations of Residential Care homes. This is a management role, and you will be required to work directly with the clients. You will work together with the support team and young person to create a safe environment, build rapport and help develop independence.
About You
Passionate about leading a team to make a real difference in a young person\'s life.
A leader who strives to help others and who has experience working with a variety of different complex and challenging behaviours, including clients with disabilities.
Committed to quality client services and continuous improvement strategies.
Skills and experience required to be successful in this role
High level of interpersonal skills including the ability to consult and negotiate with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Skill in supporting people with a disability within a positive and therapeutic frame work.
Understanding Residential Youth Work and NDIS.
Strong problem solving and decision-making skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
Strong staff-management skills, including conflict resolution and performance management.
Strong communication skills, including verbal and written.
To be successful you will have
Completed a Cert IV in Disability or similar qualification.
Current Working With Children Check.
Current NDIS Worker Screening check (or willing to obtain).
First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain).
Administration of Medication (or willing to obtain).
