**About the role**:
The Test Manager role is responsible for building, maintaining and engaging a high-performance team of testers delivering world-class solutions for government and regulated industries. The prime focus is to provide testing for the project delivery team to deliver high quality software solutions enabling outstanding customer outcomes. In addition, the role is responsible for the management and personal development of a diverse team of testers.

This could be the perfect role for you Working experience as a Manual Tester is key, but a smart people person with a problem-solving mentality is key to success.**Day to day responsibilities**:
- Ensure the team's testing methods are executed
- Plan testing and execute test scripts for projects
- Participate in internal governance meetings and customer meetings
- Assist with pre-sales activities (work with each RSD and review proposed RFT response approaches where needed)
- Maintain a forecast of resource requirements, identify any gaps, thus ensuring utilisation targets of resources are met for the team
- Track key metrics cost (actuals vs estimates), delivery, quality, engagement) to drive continuous improvements in the team
**Skills needed**:
- Commercial experience leading and managing teams of testers in challenging and complex projects
- A strong leader capable of building a highly creative and productive environment reinforcing the team culture of accountability and outcome-driven mindset
- Deep understanding of project delivery methodologies
- Experience with manual testing
