A full-time permanent role has become available for a Digital Communications Manager at AGL. Based in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane or Adelaide, you will be responsible for the development and execution of AGL's Corporate Digital Strategy. You will prepare and deliver innovative and industry-leading digital communications across the Company's owned digital channels to build, defend, and enhance AGL's brand and reputation in line with our corporate strategy.
What you'll be doing:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Channels you will:
- Deliver and execute the Corporate Digital Strategy, aligned to corporate strategic themes and the Corporate Affairs plan
- Support the development of best practice digital communications, including content and channels and driving positive engagement in all platforms, including AGL website, intranet and social channels
- Build and foster constructive and effective relationships across every division of AGL to consistently support understanding of our stakeholders based on their engagement with our digital channels and in non-AGL platforms that have an impact on AGL brand and reputation
- Ensure consistent AGL messaging and brand voice in all engagements
- Employ social and digital monitoring tools to provide insights into community and stakeholder sentiment and expectations
- Monitor, measure, and report on the Corporate Digital Strategy, aligned to corporate strategic themes and the Corporate Affairs plan
- Oversee the curation, managing and approval process for all content on owned digital channels. This includes the setup, reporting and optimisation of campaigns on social platforms
- Support the development and implementation of best practice digital communications, including performance strategies that meet our content and cross-channel campaign objectives, SEO, social and UX/Design
- Support strategic goals, including telling the AGL story, and deliver meaningful insights from analytics that lift our performance in appropriate brand and reputation measures
About You
What you'll bring to the table:
- Strong proven digital communication experience within a large complex environment, preferably with an ASX listed organisation
- Superior capability to develop strategy and execute
- Strong technical proficiency in digital content production, with strong capabilities in digital video and photography production and editing
- Experience managing social media communities in a high-profile, issues rich environment, aligning communications to wider issues management and messaging frameworks
- Understanding of best practice trends and innovation in digital communications
- Ability to collaborate and influence within a matrixed team
- Outstanding written, verbal, and analytical skills with an ability to monitor trends, translate data and deliver insights that clearly demonstrate stakeholder sentiment, and improve the performance of content and channels
