**Position details**
- Senior Education Officer 2 (SEO 2)
- Temporary, full-time role (2 years with the possibility of extension)
- Close to Wynyard station & hybrid work arrangements available

**About the role**:
**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Providing expert advice on curriculum and school-based assessments to stakeholders
- Supporting the Curriculum Implementation Directorate with mentoring and training to ensure quality responses
- Offering data-informed insights to guide curriculum implementation and enhance stakeholder communication
- Collaborating across teams to ensure consistent, up-to-date information for external inquiries
- Assisting in the development of digital tools and data management systems
- A tertiary qualification in education with comprehensive knowledge of the K-12 curriculum
- Strong understanding of curriculum and assessment trends, policies and emerging issues
- Experience providing expert guidance and building relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills to support and mentor colleagues effectively
