This program is a 90-day training designed for entry-level talent, located at our Raleigh Durham, NC facilities, with on-the-job training after the program. After training, you return to your home country to begin the on-the-job portion. NetApp emphasizes collaboration across the organization and cross-functional support from Marketing and Channel Sales to achieve sales goals.
Note: This role is part of the S3 academy Channel Sales program, targeting the NetApp Territory Commercial space, with potential global training exposure.
Responsibilities
Schedule and attend sales calls with key influencers within the partner organization and NetApp Distribution Channel Representatives, helping qualify opportunities.
Use a consultative approach to discuss business issues with Channel Partners and develop a formal business plan addressing joint needs of the Partner and NetApp.
Utilize the business plan to develop a pipeline and coordinate cross-functional engagement between Partners and NetApp Sales teams to drive opportunities to closure.
Build and strengthen business relationships with existing Partners.
Recommend and develop joint go-to-market strategies.
Provide status updates to your Manager including forecast and pipeline information.
Facilitate training opportunities and drive enablement for your accounts.
Identify NetApp customer references for reference selling.
Education and Qualifications
Graduated within the past 18 months or on track to graduate by February 2026 with a bachelor's or master's degree in business studies, management or a related discipline.
Unrestricted right to work in Australia. For roles in other global locations, please refer to the recruiter.
Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong interpersonal, negotiation and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Salesforce, SAP and Microsoft Office.
Entrepreneurial mindset and strong work ethic.
Open, positive attitude with interest in technology and its impact on the future.
Ability to remain calm under pressure with strong attention to detail.
Job Summary
Sells products or services through resellers and channel partners in the assigned territory. Represents the company in all activities associated with reseller and channel partner support. Prospecting new business, setting and closing appointments with key decision makers, servicing existing business, and developing strong relationships. Schedule promotional work and track sales activities; quote prices, prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts. Develop new business within the assigned region; gather data on marketing trends, competitive products and pricing.
