We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer for a temporary, fly-in-fly-out (FIFO) role based in Queensland.
This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the advisory, design, and evaluation of mechanical products, equipment, and processes for a reputable leader in the resources sector.
You will be instrumental in applying your expertise to solve complex problems and ensure the highest standards of safety and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities Design and Analysis: Apply your deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles to the design, analysis, and failure assessment of equipment.
Safety Processes: Play a pivotal role in HAZID and HAZOP studies, and implement safety in design processes to mitigate risks to personnel and equipment.
Problem-Solving: Determine the root cause of complex problems, evaluate multiple solutions, and implement effective strategies to ensure a planned and structured approach.
Stakeholder Management: Proactively engage with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, managing their needs and ensuring seamless collaboration.
Change Management: Assess the impact of changes, prepare integrated change management plans, and support stakeholders in the adoption and successful delivery of those changes.
Standards and Compliance: Align project deliverables with engineering standards and review designs to ensure they meet construction, operation, and maintenance requirements.
Requirements Education: A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar mechanical engineering role.
Desirable: Prior exposure to Maintenance and Equipment Compliance Systems is highly desirable.
