As an ETL Developer, you'll play a key role in managing and optimising our ETL processes.
You'll work with large-scale data in a batch processing environment, designing robust data pipelines and warehouse architectures that power insights across the business.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include :Designing, implementing, and optimising high-performance ETL systemsWorking with diverse data sources including SQL databases and flat filesManaging structured data and metadata efficientlyUtilising tools for querying, reporting, data mining, and OLAPOverseeing data cleansing and enrichment processesDesigning and build scalable data pipelinesConducting ETL testing and validate data flowsDeveloping detailed, fit-for-purpose data modelsMaintaining comprehensive technical documentationRequirements :5+ years of hands-on ETL development experienceProficiency in Bash and Python scripting in Linux / Unix environmentsStrong SQL skills (PostgreSQL, MonetDB, T-SQL)Experience with Hive / PySparkFamiliarity with SCM / CI tools like SVN, Git, and JenkinsSolid understanding of data warehousing and BI conceptsExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and a collaborative mindsetEagerness to learn and adapt to new technologiesCircana BehavioursAs well as the technical skills, experience and attributes that are required for the role, our shared behaviours sit at the core of our organisation.
