Our small service located in Kanwal, is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Certificate III Educator who wishes to progress and complete their Diploma, to join our team

Our service educates and cares for up to 24 children per day, between the ages of 2-6 years, between 8:00am-5:30pm Monday-Friday, for 50 weeks of the year (closed over the Christmas period).

Required documents for this role include:

- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Working with Children Check
- First Aid Certificate

Due to the size of our service, you will be part of a small team working directly with all families and children of our service, and due to this we are seeking an educator who:

- Is willing to complete their Diploma via a traineeship at our service (you will be trained to study on site for 3 hours per week)
- Is enthusiastic, friendly and caring towards all people
- Is consistent with communication and team work
- Can complete tasks in a timely manner independently, or seek support where needed
- Is confident in using basic technology for communication and documentation purposes
- Is consistently able to follow service policies and procedures that support the implementation of high quality education and care, based on the National Quality Standards, Law and Regulations.
- Takes initiative to support the overall operations of the service to ensure a comfortable and happy environment for all.

This role will require you to participate in various tasks throughout the day to support the education and care of our children, including;
- Interacting with and supervising the children
- Creating inviting play spaces and maintaining these throughout the day
- Planning, implementation, documentation and evaluation of the program (supported by our Educational leader, Early Childhood Teacher and Diploma Educator)
- General cleaning of the environment
- Completing safety checklists throughout the day
- Collaboration and communication with the families
- Preparation of / serving meals
- Support with daily needs such as dressing, toileting, feeding, sleeping etc.

**Salary**: $23.50 - $30.00 per hour
