C# Developer For Critical Applications

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to take over the ownership of two business-critical applications currently being transitioned from a third-party vendor. These applications are hosted on AWS, backed by a shared Oracle database, and serve important business processes.
This role will involve getting up to speed with the applications, owning their maintenance and enhancements, and then working with the team to determine the long-term strategy for modernization, re-architecture, or continued support.
Maintenance includes troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Enhancements involve adding new features, improving performance, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
This mid-senior level position requires strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
Responsibilities
Application Ownership:
Take over and build deep knowledge of two existing C#/.NET applications.
Analyzing Codebase:
Analyze the codebase to understand business logic, data flows, and integration points.
Maintenance and Enhancement:
Maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot the applications as needed.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with business stakeholders and internal engineering teams to implement new features and improvements.
Roadmap:
Participate in technical discussions around the long-term roadmap and modernization options for the applications.
Stability and Reliability:
Ensure the stability and reliability of the applications running in AWS environments.
Integration:
Support integration with a shared Oracle database, ensuring efficient data handling and query performance.
Best Practices:
Adhere to software engineering best practices, including version control, testing, and documentation.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with C#/.NET Framework and/or .NET Core, experience working with AWS-hosted applications, and a solid understanding of Oracle databases and SQL queries.
