**About the role**

Reporting to a Senior Category Manager, you will contribute to the development of category strategies, and manage sourcing, supplier relationship and contract management activities. The position will form a key part of the team that is transforming the MRL inbound Supply Chain, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

**What you'll bring to the team**
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (business, management, legal, commercial) - desirable
- Experience working within a procurement or commercial team in Supply / Category / Contracts roles
- A proven track record for cultivating strong relationships with key clients and supplier stakeholders that has delivered both value and customer satisfaction.
- The ability to independently manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organisation/time management and problem-solving skills
- Negotiation skills, with the proven ability to plan a negotiation and execute that plan
- Well-developed communications skills, both verbal and written, including drafting strategies, presentations, and recommendations
- Experience in mining related categories such as Heavy Mobile Equipment, Drill and Blast or Operational Technology would be highly regarded
