As global industry-leading experts, we remain accountable for solving the challenges of today and embrace our natural curiosity and passion for the opportunities of tomorrow.CPP Wind Engineering Consultants provides an environment where talent flourishes to the benefit of the individual, the company, our clients, and society.The RoleWe are looking for a motivated individual to join our engineering consulting team based in our office at St Peters, Sydney.Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will:Ensure all wind engineering project work complies with statutory and regulatory requirements and company policies and practices.Prepare preliminary and detailed designs, specifications and documentation for all wind engineering project work and ensuring project work complies with conditions and parameters set out in project scope of works.Ensure all wind engineering project work is completed on time and within budget.Prepare documentation for standards, procedures, safe working practices and monitoring regimes in respect of work on or around wind engineering projects.Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.Assist with the preparation of the wind engineering budget.The successful candidate will have:Aeronautical or civil engineering tertiary qualification, or similar discipline.Minimum of 3 years' experience on technical wind engineering projects, ideally within a consulting environment.Experience in wind tunnel testing for structural wind loads on buildings.Proficient written and verbal communication skills.Proficient computer skills and knowledge of computer programming.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Understanding of QA systems and procedures, as well as ability to work within Occupational Health and Safety practices.What's on OfferThe successful applicant will be offered:Technical training, mentoring and support with the opportunity of career advancement within the field of wind engineering and numerical modelling.Have access to significant resources and be presented with challenging and varied work involving some of the world's most recognizable structures.Work in a friendly and diverse environment that is committed to delivering innovative engineering solutions through the pursuit of continued growth, learning and the application of our knowledge.How to ApplyClick the Apply Now button.
