Role OverviewUMENCO is currently recruiting a Senior Production Coordinator for an established accessories brand.
This brand emerged under the Australian sun, crafting refined pieces with an emphasis on timeless design and exceptional craftspersonship.
They have an extensive following in Australia as well as internationally, with their approach to everyday style, highlighting and celebrating optimism, innovation and inclusivity.
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Senior Production Coordinator will oversee supplier quotations, production schedules and delivery timelines for both raw materials and finished goods.
This role ensures seamless alignment between design intent and production execution, driving operational efficiencies while maintaining the highest quality standards.
The Senior Production Coordinator will manage critical path meetings, review supplier performance, negotiate costs and timelines and identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes.
Working closely with internal teams, master craftsman, artisan groups and global suppliers, the successful talent will coordinate approvals, testing and quality control to guarantee on-time, in-full delivery.
Responsibilities include purchase order management, margin analysis, production troubleshooting and ensuring all product meets technical specifications, brand standards and customer requirements.
The Senior Production Coordinator will have attention to detail and proactive problem-solving will be central to achieving delivery, quality and cost objectives.
To succeed in this role, the successful talent will bring a minimum of five years production experience in a similar capacity, strong technical and fabric knowledge and proven supplier relationship management skills.
The Senior Production Coordinator will be highly organised, adept at managing multiple priorities under pressure and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
Proficiency in Excel is essential with AP21 experience and accessories knowledge being an advantage.
