Our client
Our client is a 100% family-owned vertically integrated agricultural business. Their main operations are dryland and irrigated cropping; livestock breeding, backgrounding and feed lotting; cotton ginning, warehousing, and logistics.
The team of over 150 employees is based across Northern NSW and QLD, with office locations in Sydney, Moree, Bourke and Collarenebri.

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Manager to lead and supervise the office-based teams (approx. 11 staff) across multiple locations in NSW & QLD.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead a diverse range of teams from Accounts, Administration, Human Resources, Transport and Logistics, and Commodities and maintain a positive work environment.
- Design and implement plans and strategies to achieve organisational goals and timelines.
- Ensure that the organisation has adequate and suitable resources to complete its off-farm business activities (e.g. people, material, equipment).
- Organise and coordinate operations across office locations to ensure maximum productivity.
- Supervise the work of employees and provide feedback to improve efficiency and effectiveness, and support the professional development of staff.
- Maintain strong working relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Gather, analyse, and interpret external and internal data and write and present reports to inform strategic business decisions, including assessing overall organisational performance against its objectives.
- Work with Directors and Chief Financial Officer to drive strategy implementation, solve problems and address emerging issues.
A salary in the range of $150k
- $200k is on offer dependent on experience.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Manager or similar role.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
- Accounting experience.
- Experience in the agricultural sector.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, including the ability to influence and negotiate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Thorough understanding of business processes and strategy development and implementation.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
- Excellent knowledge of a relevant accounting program i.e. Xero, Pheonix, MYOB.
- Ability to travel to regional office locations as required.
