Oversee daily culinary operations, ensuring high-volume food production meets quality standards for events and daily serviceSupport food safety plans and maintain HACCP accreditation standards, advocating for on-site complianceAssist in managing departmental budgets, controlling food costs, and coordinating with suppliers to source high-quality ingredientsCollaborate with the Head Chef and General Manager on menu development, addressing guest feedback, and resolving service-related issuesLead kitchen operations, including menu preparation, cooking according to standards, and ensuring consistent quality and service standards, while fostering team development and motivation More about you Diploma in Professional Cookery Level 5 or equivalent and Minimum Certificate III in Commercial CookeryFood Safety Supervisor Certificate desiredMinimum of 3 years of monitoring food and labor cost, menu development, and costingProven background in ordering and inventory procedures including cost controls and handling invoicesProficiency in menu development and stock managementCompetence in using business technology such as stock control systems, spreadsheets, and accounting systems preferredThe application period will close on 02/10/2025, unless sufficient qualified candidates are identified sooner.
