Hospitality Training Network (**HTN**) is searching for a **Butchery Apprentice** to join the team at **Sutcliffe Meats**

**Sutcliffe Meats butchery shop** has over 50 years of experience within the meat industry. They source only the freshest, finest quality meat products that support our farmers and satisfy their customers. Providing a wide range of affordable and fresh meats such as chicken, beef, lamb, pork, turkey and game.

**What's involved**:
As the Apprentice Butcher, you will have the opportunity to gain the knowledge and skills within the Butchery industry assisting in the below tasks, but not limited to:

- Work closely with the team to learn all aspects of a becoming a successful butcher.
- Provide exceptional service to our valued customers.
- Ensuring that meat recipes are followed properly during preparation.
- Cut, trim and shape standard cuts of meat to size.
- Assemble and operate mincers, grinders, mixers, patty-forming or sausage forming machines.

To suit this role you will be eager, reliable and have a passion for all things meat You will take pride in your presentation, have good communication skills and seek out opportunities to learn in your everyday duties.

**In order to be eligible for an Apprenticeship in NSW you must be either an**:

- Australian Citizenship
- Australian Permanent Residency
- New Zealand Passport Holder residing in Australia for more than six months.
