This position gives you the opportunity to sharpen your skills in tax reporting, governance and compliance across the APAC region, while setting you up for long-term growth in areas such as transfer pricing, tax advisory and international M&A activity.
Reporting to the APAC Tax Director, you'll play a key role in ensuring the organisation meets its tax obligations, while also supporting strategic projects and process improvements.
You'll gain visibility across multiple business units and jurisdictions, working closely with finance teams, shared services and external stakeholders.
We're looking for a tax professional who is comfortable starting with compliance and eager to grow into more complex areas of international tax.
In this role you'll be responsible for: Preparing and reviewing local compliance tasks including income tax, GST, FBT, BAS and withholding tax Assisting with tax balance sheet reconciliations and accounting workpapers for financial reporting Supporting tax governance and risk management across the APAC region Liaising with the ATO and other regulatory bodies when required Acting as a key contact for internal stakeholders on tax-related queries Identifying opportunities for process improvement and supporting system/tool enhancements As you develop, you'll gain exposure to transfer pricing, cross-border advisory, and M&A activity — giving you genuine international scope and career acceleration.
To succeed, you'll bring: 3-5 years' experience in commercial tax or professional services (Big 4/Second Tier ideal) CA/CPA or CTA qualification (or close to completion) Strong technical knowledge across income tax, GST, FBT and indirect taxes A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the confidence to liaise with senior stakeholders This is a role where you'll start strong in compliance and then expand into broader, international projects.
