SafeNest Disability Services provide basic to complex care support to the NDIS participants.

**Currently we are hiring qualified Male support worker to fill out some shifts in Perth's south of the river area. i.e. Canning Vale, Thornlie, Maddington, Gosnells etc.**

**About the role**

We have multiple Support Worker roles available for those who are looking for a rewarding role to support clients with:

- Personal care
- Light household cleaning
- Social support
- Community access (transport support)

**Your Skills and Experience**

To be successful in the role, you will require the following:

- A genuine passion to work alongside participants and to make a positive and lasting difference in their lives
- Professional or lived experience of the NDIS and/or Aged Care sectors
- Experience of complex behaviours and behaviour support methods (a bonus - not a requirement)
- Excellent communication skills, commitment to a person-centred focus and flexibility to support needs based on individual circumstances
- A sense of humour (another bonus - not a requirement)
- Resilience and compassion
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- Qualification in Disability, Aged Care or related field preferred
- Current First Aid certificate
- Current CPR certificate
- Current Drivers Licence & access to a reliable vehicle
- The right to work in Australia

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: From $35.00 per hour
