Overview
Reporting to the Store Manager, you'll have full accountability for the day-to-day running of the deli department.
You'll take pride in contributing to a store which is exceptionally presented, welcoming and engaging for our customers, team members and community.
Responsibilities
Oversee the deli department on a day-to-day basis, ensuring a high standard of presentation and customer service.
Be accountable for in-store operations, including stock management, product rotation, waste control and quality checks.
Lead, coach and develop the team to meet sales targets, cost control and rostering requirements.
Simplify processes and adhere to strict audit, food safety and compliance standards.
Foster a one-team culture that prioritises team member health, safety and wellbeing.
Delight customers by delivering an outstanding shopping experience.
Qualifications
Previous experience working in a fast-paced customer facing environment.
Direct/indirect leadership experience with the ability to lead, coach and develop a team.
Ability to maintain excellent department standards including stock monitoring, rotation routines, waste and quality control.
Commitment to simplifying processes and adhering to audit, food safety and compliance standards.
Experience in driving a one-team culture focused on health, safety and wellbeing.
Ability to deliver an outstanding shopping experience for customers.
