**The Department**

**_ The Feed _**is SBS's award winning news, current affairs and satire vertical, and we have moved wholly digital to reach our audiences where they're at: on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and on site. We produce a solid blend of edgy, hard-hitting, funny and emotional content relevant to all Australians optimised for digital audiences. **_The Feed_** has always pushed the boundaries of best practice when it comes to storytelling and agenda-setting for young Australians.

**The Role**

You'll pitch, produce and present cutting-edge video explainers as well as eye-popping mini-documentary videos specifically for digital audiences on site, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram + more.

You'll seek to cut through the noise to capture and explain controversial and on-trend topics, and look to source the most fascinating stories for our audience. You'll also have the opportunity to write feature and on-trend articles.

**About you**
- Meticulous research and journalistic skills, with strong attention to detail
- Experience in producing video content for digital platforms and strong writing skills
- Video presenting skills or willingness to screen-test
- Deep understanding of digital audiences and shareable content
- Demonstrated experience using performance data to inform story pitches and execution
- Plentiful content ideas suiting the Feed's brand, and keenness for digital innovation
