Our client is a well known artisan food manufacturer shaping the Melbourne food scene and have been doing this for over 18 years now.

The factory operates 24/7 we are currently looking 2 night shift team leader for the production and packaging line.

**What will you do?**

**Production and Packaging Line Team Leader**
The production line Team Leader will work alongside with bakery, freezer and pastry sections ensuring all production operations is running smoothly to achieve business objectives.
- Able to set up production lines
- Able to work as a line supervisor
- Organise the production staff
- Perform regular quality checks
- Assisting in training new staff
- Ensuring all products meet the food safety standards
- Following GMP personal hygiene and safe manufacturing practices

**Who Are You?**

You need to be assertive, take direction and collaborate well with the management team. You are the focal point in ensuring all production meets their targets. This is an amazing role for career progression, work satisfaction and will fit someone who enjoys mentoring and learning new things.
- Knowledge of HACCP
- Experience leading a team and/or managing people (3-5 years).
- Machine operations experience.
- A forklift licence (LF) - only required if they work in the packing team.
- Experience within the food manufacturing industry, dough making or bakery experience (ideal but not mandatory)
- Cold room Experience
