**About the role**
Financial Analyst is responsible for management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, project accounting, data analytics and financial analysis.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Identify, promote, and facilitate improvements in financial management and/or business processes with financial impact at a divisional and/or branch level.
- Support collaboration and information flow with central teams to assist in the balancing of legislative and accounting standard compliance.
- Support in the preparation of detailed "bottom-up" financial data inputs (budget and forecast).
- Undertake research to assist with financial analysis and reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial data and identify risk areas.
- Support and coordinate analysis of issues, opportunities and options related to management accounting outcomes as directed to support optimisation.
- Contribute to the achievement of financial management business outcomes

**About you**
- 4+ years of management accounting and/or Finance experience
- Government experience or large complex environment preferred.
- Extensive experience in the use of SAP financial system, especially in the project management module including reporting.
- Experience in using TRIM record management system/electronic record management systems
- Advanced Excel (Pivot, Index/match, Sumifs functions etc.)
- SAP Financial ERP implementation experience.
