**About the role**

We have an opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join our team at Ventia. This role is incredibly diverse and will allow you to use your technical knowledge within a complex ASX listed organisation.

As our Finance Analyst you will provide financial reporting and analysis for our water portfolio to ensure we are meeting all external financial reporting deliverables and that financial reports are of a high quality, accuracy and are reported in a timely basis.

Joining the Ventia team you will become part of our Finance Academy initiative. This program brings together all Finance professionals across the business to partake in opportunities for continuous learning and training, mentoring programs, networking and social events aimed at promoting career development and recognition.

The role offers flexible working with time in the office and working from home.

**About the role**
- Manage end to end budget and forcast deliverables.
- Deliver a complete, accurate and timely month end result pack with required level of detail, analysis, insight risk and opportunities.
- Support operationally led business case, conduct financial modelling and analysis.
- Proactively monitor and improve cash position.
- Develop and maintain understanding of key contract commercial deliverables and drivers.

**About you**
- Tertiary level qualifications in relevant discipline.
- CA or CPA preferred.
- Well-developed financial accounting and financial reporting and analysis knowledge.
- Well developed experience within a project accounting role.
- Experience with SAP and Power BI would be an advantage (but not essential).
