**About the Role**:
We are currently looking for a motivated and passionate Administration Assistant to join the supportive and friendly teams at our Amberlea community located in Drouin on a casual basis.

The position of Administration Assistant has a vital role to play in establishing and maintaining a high level of customer-focused service to our clients, families, staff, volunteers, and visitors. The Administration Assistant must demonstrate a positive, efficient, and welcoming approach to customer service which represents the warmth and compassion of Baptcare's Amberlea.

Ideally, you will have experience working within aged care with a proven ability to work cooperatively with a diverse, multicultural workforce and client base. We are looking for someone who can work on a permanent full-time basis, and demonstrate a deep empathy for older people and their families.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Provide high-quality customer service to clients, families, staff, volunteers and visitors

Undertake general office administration duties in an accurate and efficient manner

Maintain a safe environment for visitors and staff through the implementation of Work Health and Safety policies and procedures

Roster assistance on a daily basis

Maintaining roster

Working to fill vacant shifts and assisting in other roster-related issues

**Key Selection Criteria**:
Available Monday to Friday

Proven ability to work cooperatively with a diverse, multicultural workforce and client base

Ability to review own schedule to manage priorities and the changing needs of residents

Ability to manage visitors, phone calls and computer work in a friendly and efficient manner

Commitment to working in accordance with Baptcare's values and Code of Conduct

**Essential Qualifications**:
Previous experience in a similar role within aged care

Rostering experience

Certificate II or III in Business Administration (Desirable)
