**The Role**:
As the Civil Engineering Manager you'll be an integral member of the community development team through the design, construction and maintenance of roads and traffic management in Perth's south eastern suburbs.

**The Role**:

- Project manage roads construction and maintenance and traffic engineering
- Overseeing planned and reactive work
- Manage a team of supervisors, asset officers and civil operators
- Contract management - subcontractor compliance and performance, variations
- Financial management - budgeting, planning, reporting
- Involved in business strategy planning, tendering and estimating, procurement, sustainability
- Make improvements to operations, policy and processes, action plans,
- Office based with some travel to site required

**The Ideal Person**:

- Tertiary qualified with a Civil Engineering degree
- Experience in operations management and project management, planning and administration
- Identifies and delivers improvements, best practice and excellence
- Strong people leader - motivate, train and develop the team
- Strong stakeholder engagement
- Holds a certificate in Traffic Management, White Card, full drivers licence and can obtain a Police Clearance
