In line with planned transformation and growth, our HR Operations team is expanding by adding HR Superintendents to our team at the Perth Head Quarters. Reporting to the Group Manager - People, you will lead a small powerful team of business partners and advisors. This role is primarily Perth based with regular site travel in line with operational requirements.

As the HR Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic leadership and operational support to our corporate and project operations. You will utilise your expertise to elevate our processes, drive continuous improvement and contribute to our overall success.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage the HR Business Partnering and Advisory team to deliver timely, effective and accurate HR and ER advice to the business
- Provide support and advice to HR Advisors during workplace investigations to ensure compliance with internal processes and legislation
- Ensure all disciplinary action including employee terminations are managed in accordance with internal policies and external legislation to mitigate risk
- Manage IR related issues including disputes and Fair Work Commission conciliations
- Undertake IR analysis to assist in the development and implementation of IR strategy
- Manage enterprise agreement negotiations
- Provide expertise and advice on federal and state-based employment legislation, awards and agreements
- Liaise with HSEQ to evaluate and mitigate ER risk in WCOMP and Injury Management cases
- Liaise with the Recruitment Team to ensure legislative compliance
- Escalate matters to, and work with, the Company's external legal provider for professional advice when necessary to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Provide ER support to tenders including appropriate IR strategy and Employee Relations Management Plans
- HR metrics reporting
- Influence and support leaders to manage their teams in line with HR/ER best practice
- Review HR policies and procedures

**Qualifications**
- Well established experience in a similar role
- Experience practicing HR in a blue collar / contracting / service provider work environment
- Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or equivalent
- Strong demonstrated knowledge of HR/ER practices and employment legislation
- Experienced managing workplace investigations
- Objective with sound judgement, decision-making and influencing skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Current C Class Drivers Licence
- Ability to undertake site travel as required
- SuccessFactors experience would be advantageous
