Business Banking Risk plays a part in providing the first line of defence in managing all risk aspects of Bendigo & Adelaide Bank. We support the Bank's business channels in achieving their goals to grow a diverse customer base with lending in line with the Bank's objectives and Risk Appetite Statement.

About the role

As Risk Consultant and reporting to the Senior Manager Risk and Regulatory Projects, you will be responsible for working within the Business Banking Risk team, Business Units and project teams, to implement and manage Change, in-line with Operational Risk and Compliance Frameworks. In addition, you will support the Head of Risk Business Banking in the timely delivery of the Business Unit's risk and regulatory related commitments in relation to the APRA program and Business Bank Risk initiatives.

**Key accountabilities include**:
Facilitation of Change Initiatives Risk Change Self Assessments workshops and meetings as per RCSA procedures
Develop communications for regulatory and remediation focused projects, lead change management and communication resources

The role will join an experienced team and we are open to various locations.

About you

Risk and Compliance experience within in Banking and Financial Service (Line 1 and or Line 2) with an understanding of Risk and Control frameworks
Sound understanding of Business Banking operations, products, policies and procedures highly desirable
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communication effectively across all levels
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability lead, advise and influence business teams and stakeholders to implement desired change and outcomes
Ability to priorities and work under pressure
Tertiary qualifications in Risk Management, Law or Business-related fields highly desirable.
