**The Opportunity**

Come and discover our **Production Operator** roles at our **Orrcon Steel** business in **Salisbury**. Orrcon Steel is a manufacturer of steel tube and pipe and a leading Australian steel distributor with nationally recognised brands.

Production Operators work in a continuous production environment. They operate machinery to create smarter solutions for our customers, while monitoring product quality, remaining committed to their safety and that of the team. You will receive ongoing training and support to learn all aspects of our Production Operator role allowing for future career development opportunities.

**What Will You Do?**

As a valued member of our manufacturing team, you'll work at Orrcon Steel's largest manufacturing site and:

- support and promote a safe working environment
- operate machinery to manufacture our high-quality products
- safely pack and strap our products for secure delivery
- monitor products for quality control and contribute to our success
- potentially learn to operate cranes, forklifts

**Roster**: You'll work a Monday-Friday fortnightly rotating roster. This will consist of 2 weeks of day shift, 2 weeks of nights shift and 2 weeks of afternoon shift. This will look like:

- ** Day**: Monday to Friday (06:00 to 14:00)
- ** Afternoon**: Monday to Friday (14:00 to 22:00)
- ** Night**: Sunday to Thursday (22:00 to 06:00) (Friday 6am finish)

Further down the line, some available roles may operate on a 24/7 roster.
