Overview
Geotechnical Engineer / Engineering Geologist role at Jacobs, Perth, Western Australia.
2 to 5 years experience preferred.
Responsibilities
Perform geotechnical field investigations and design works.
Develop technical documentation, reports and specifications of engineering solutions in response to a client's brief.
Support discipline leads, design managers and project managers with required technical inputs.
Provide technical inputs in accordance with relevant industry/client, Australian and International Standards.
Receive technical support and mentoring from industry-leading technical leaders within the team.
Maintain competency in geotechnical engineering and stay current with contemporary practice and trends.
Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams and develop and maintain relationships with colleagues and clients to support successful project outcomes.
Qualifications
Tertiary Degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or Geology (relevant qualification).
Experience in a similar role; work experience in a consulting environment is preferred.
Team player with strong interpersonal and communications skills.
Proactive and business-minded.
