An experienced, motivated and caring Receptionist/Dental Assistant individual is required to join the team at Eastern Suburbs Orthodontics. The team are professional and passionate about providing patients with the highest level of orthodontic care in a friendly team environment.

Eastern Suburbs Orthodontics has a professional, modern and friendly environment and are committed to ongoing staff development and training to ensure that the team stay on the forefront of innovation.

The Receptionist/Dental Assistant role is part time on Monday & Wednesday 9.00am-5.00pm, Thursday 10:00am-7:30pm and Friday 8.15am-5.45pm each week. Successful applicants will ideally have their Certificate III in Dental Assisting along with dental and/or orthodontic work experience.

Duties will include a receptionist skillset, chair side assistance, as well as sterilisation and some administration duties. You will need excellent communication skills ensuring our patients feel welcome and cared for at all times and to support the team in creating a quality experience.

To be successful in the role you will require:

- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- A commitment to providing outstanding care and able to build rapport easily
- Be professional with excellent presentation and exhibit a passion for dentistry
- Dental assisting experience is ESSENTIAL
- A willingness to take the initiative, think outside the box, be self-directed and able to work autonomously as well as part of the team
- Computer literacy with a Certificate 3 in Dental Assisting (preferable, but not essential)
