The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Librarian to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 10 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Provide quality library support, customer service and research assistance to health care professionals, researchers and medical students
- Co-ordinate document delivery services and provision of interlibrary loans, assisting with accessing and delivery of research material not held in GCHHS collection
- Contribute to planning, evaluation and development and promotion of library services to meet client needs
- Support the promotion of evidence-based practice and educate library users in EBP and assist clients to access services, resources and facilities

About you

**To be successful in this position you will require**:

- Tertiary qualification in Information Management/Librarianship which provides eligibility for professional membership of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) or an agreed equivalent
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - COVID 19
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed

Salary
- Permanent part time (45.6 hrs p.f.)
- Base salary ranging from $34.63 - $44.53 per hour
