Librarian Operations Manager

- Manage daily library circulation operations and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
- Roster, supervise, and assist library staff in frontline services to ensure quality control of circulation procedures and workload distribution.
- Assist with the development and delivery of promotional programs to increase awareness of library services.
- Lead the Library when absent, including opening and closing the library, handling monies, and liaising with contractors and council areas to maintain the library.
- Provide advice and support to Senior Library Officers across the network for problem-solving and escalated issues.
- Possess a Diploma of Librarian and Information Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Relevant experience in a library or customer service environment.
- Ability to undertake regular weekend work (any 5 in 7 days).
- Current Blue Card and First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with initiative and sound judgment.
