**The Opportunity**:
Urbis is seeking an experienced Head of Information Technology to join the team in Melbourne. In this role, you'll lead our IT Service Delivery for Australia and Singapore.
Your focus will be on balancing both emerging and disruptive technology trends and leveraging recent investments in our technology infrastructure and third-party relationships, to enable the technology needs of our clients and staff.
In this key leadership role, you will foster team growth while overseeing external technology suppliers and ensuring adherence to the endorsed IT budget. Your strong people management and leadership skills will drive success in this role.

**You will**:

- Create a fit-for-purpose Information Technology strategy that aligns with Urbis' strategic vision, to deliver services, technology improvements collaborative tools and architecture.
- Collaborate with the Cyber Security Officer to drive IT security and data protection, maintain a secure environment and strengthen our cyber posture.
- Foster a consistent 'One Urbis' IT experience by engaging and collaborating across the company and ensure an engaging and efficient user environment that equips our people with the necessary tools for success
- Stay informed of marketplace and industry developments to maintain a competitive edge.
- Drive standardisation and rationalisation across Urbis to prevent cost duplication and security risks.
- Partner with other Business Units to Identify digital initiatives aligned with the strategy, deliver prioritised technology initiatives and create compelling business cases.
- Ensure timely and budgeted delivery of standalone or tech-dependent strategic projects, with a clear focus on addressing benefits and business case requirements.
- Create and enhance the IT Architecture Roadmap and supporting activities as we pursue a cloud-based platforms strategy to support the Digital Transformation;
- Provide strong leadership, coaching, and development for team members, including timely feedback to drive high performance.

**About You**:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Systems or Business e.g. Computing Science, Engineering Degree, or equivalent;
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in technology related roles with demonstrable experience in leadership roles within operational technology.
- In depth understanding of information systems, platforms and new technologies and their capability to support business strategies and growth.
- Strong knowledge of business principles and budget management.
- Experience in implementing practice management and broad SaaS platforms is desirable.
