The role itself will play an integral role in planning, coordinating and ensuring our Heavy Lift operations run smoothly, safely and correctly across the Project.Working closely with the Superintendent - Crane & Rigging, as well as multiple Package Manager's to ensure we are able to lift some of the worlds largest equipment for a State of the Art and brand new Gold Processing Plant.Your Key ResponsibilitiesThe ability to liaise with procurement personnel for all necessary material and consumable requirements.The ability to read and interpret specifications, technical drawings, schematics, and any other engineering documentation and/or reports.The capacity to plan, schedule, conduct, and/or coordinate detailed phases of assigned project work.Supervise and coordinate structural, mechanical, and piping installation activities to meet project targets.Ensure that safety, quality, and environmental standards are consistently met or exceeded.Lead daily pre-start meetings and toolbox talks to maintain team engagement and safety focus.Monitor workforce performance and provide coaching and support to ensure productivity and quality outcomes.Liaise with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to resolve construction challenges and maintain project momentum.Conduct inspections to verify that works are completed to design and specification before handover.What You 'Can Do'Significant experience as a Structural or Rigging Supervisor on Major Projects.Experience with managing blue collar crew and subcontractors.Experience in multi-discipline, mining project delivery.Ability to read and interpret design drawings, schematics and other engineering drawings.Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage performance effectively.Strong understanding of SMP construction methodologies and industry best practices.Solid knowledge of safety systems, permit to work processes, and risk assessments on large projects.Ability to work collaboratively in a high-pressure, schedule-driven environment.Competency in using construction management software and Microsoft Office suite.What we 'Can Do' for you:Competitive CompensationContemporary RosteringHealth and Wellbeing SupportBenefits and DiscountsEmployee Referral RewardsIf you're looking for a career where you experience more 'Can Do', then we're the team for you.APPLY NOWIf you believe you have what it takes and want to work for a company who put its people first, please apply now.Primero is an Equal Opportunity Employer and strongly encourages female and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants.Follow us on LinkedIn for news, updates and career opportunities.
