Our client is one of the largest rental housing cooperatives in Victoria. Its mission is to provide affordable, secure, financially and environmentally sustainable housing for people on low incomes, primarily in the South and East of Melbourne, who are committed to cooperative democracy and engagement.

The co-operative has not-for-profit status and provides much needed support to people experiencing economic stress.
- **They are now seeking a full time (38 hrs a week) Tenancy Officer who will also provide executive support to the proactive CEO.**_

**About You**

You will be a highly organised and proficient administrator with strong organisational skills. Supporting the CEO tact, diplomacy and confidentially will be required.

You will be an all-rounder with excellent computer literacy (if you have knowledge of the Chintaro Tenancy Management Software that would be awesome too). Your general office and system management capabilities will be honed from previous role experience.

A problem-solver, you will bring a positive, can-do attitude that is customer-focused and delivers results in a timely manner. Working in a small team you will be able to work autonomously or collaboratively, you will be a team player that pitches in when needed and take ownership of tasks.

The role requires patience, tenacity and tact along with excellent interpersonal skills to deal with all stakeholders.

**About the Role**

As the Tenancy Officer, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

- Compliance with all applicable organisation policies and procedures.
- To behave consistently with the organisations mission, vision, and values.
- Ensure timely compliance with all statutory, legal internal and external reporting and regulatory obligations.
- Coordinate internal and external communications with stakeholders.
- Ensure efficient operation of the organisation's electronic systems.
- To support tenancy and maintenance operations as required.
- To support the CEO as his Executive Assistant
- Ensure effective office administration
- Assist with the implementation of office procedures
- Provide support to the CEO as required, and others as directed

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years' experience
- Sound MS Office suite skills
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation will be viewed favourably
- Relevant tertiary qualifications are not mandatory but will be looked on favourably
- Demonstrated ability to effectively engage with the accounting team
- Current driving license
