It imports directly from some of the largest and most respected manufacturers globally. In excess of 5,000 containers annually are brought to Australia by Nick Scali.
**About the role**:
This is a full-time permeant role based at our North Ryde Head Office. Working 8:30 to 5:30, this role provides essential support to the purchasing team. You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Compiling purchase orders
- Corresponding with overseas suppliers (predominantly China and Vietnam)
- Checking and maintaining the accuracy of supplier reports
- Coordinating orders with suppliers
- Ensuring orders are accurately allocated to shipping containers within specified timeframes
- Attend to inquiries from showrooms and warehouses
- Assist with purchasing team administration
This role is ideal for someone who has an administration background and an interest in purchasing. To be successful you will have:
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin
- Knowledgeable in exporting/importing (eg. payment terms)
- Excellent office administration experience
- A motivated self-starter with an eye for detail
- Competent using Microsoft Office software
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
