Life Ed Qld has been an important part of growing up for more than **1.5 million Queensland children** - empowering them with knowledge and skills for a **healthy, safe life**. They do this by working face-to-face with more than 180,000 young people in partnership with 800 schools and pre-schools every year, supported by their **much-loved mascot, Healthy Harold**.

**About the role - Head of Fundraising**

This growing charity have a **sophisticated, best practice regular giving program** in place and are ready for a passionate experienced Head of Fundraising to join the team. Working closely with an engaged CEO, who has a fundraising background, **you will create and lead the fundraising strategy** for the state, **reviewing current revenue streams and recognising opportunities for growth.**

You will play a pivotal role in the organisation's financial sustainability and future growth. This is a senior leadership role that is responsible for **growing, leading, and nurturing a team of 5 **fundraising professionals.

You will **manage and grow Life Ed Qld's impressive, established regular giving program** which provides significant income. There are some exciting projects in play for the next 6 months including **launching a F2F acquisition campaign **with third party agency support.

Investment has been made into future fundraising growth with the addition of two roles; a Philanthropy Manager and a Digital Fundraiser. You will **oversee and support** **philanthropic growth** including Gift in Wills, Major Gifts, Trusts & foundations & Grants.

**Your skills & attributes**
- Experience in a multi-channel, senior fundraising leadership role
- Proven success growing regular giving income (F2F acquisition experience highly regarded)
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing fundraising strategies
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to grow, motivate and inspire others
- Experience in complex budget management and financial forecasting
- Excellent communication skills, including experience of working with external agencies and suppliers
