**About the Role**
In this hands-on position, you'll manage and coordinate all aspects of maintenance, from preventative and planned tasks to reactive repairs. Working closely with the Site Manager, you'll oversee contractor scheduling, ensure the upkeep of buildings and equipment, and provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
**Your day-to-day responsibilities will include**:
- Leading preventative, planned, and reactive maintenance programs.
- Acting as the go-to contact for maintenance issues raised by staff and supervising onsite contractors.
- Handling minor repairs, painting, and manual tasks with efficiency.
- Maintaining accurate records and scheduling disruptions with mínimal impact on operations.
- Ensuring compliance with Workplace Health & Safety standards.
- Supporting environmental services, including waste management and equipment organization.
The role is offered as an initial 12-month contract and there is some flexibility around the number of work hours per week.

**What We're Looking For**:
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
- Proven maintenance skills with a practical approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in equipment operation and safety practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and scheduling tools.
- Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic environment.
**Desirable qualifications**:
- Trade certification or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience in healthcare or service-based industries.
- A valid driver's license.
**Mandatory requirements**:
- Police check, immunisation compliance, and relevant licenses or registrations.
