Australian owned freight forwarder, located in Botany is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead and manage the warehouse operations - You must have freight forwarding warehouse operations experience at a supervisor or management level to be considered for this role.

**Responsibilities & Duties**:

- People Management (recruiting, training, appraisals, disciplining - full HR suite of duties required)
- Warehouse Safety (planning, implementation, quality, audits & resolutions)
- Warehouse Operations (daily operations along with developing new systems, design, process workflows, policy/procedures, inventory management & logistics/shipping)
- Warehouse Financials (forecasting, budgets, expenditures, corrective actions)
- Liaising with internal departments such as Transport, Customs and Management

**Experience & skills required**:

- Prior freight forwarding warehouse operations experience at a supervisor or management level
- Proficient in warehouse operating systems
- Ability to increase profit & efficiencies
- Excellent negotiation & interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
- Ability to adapt and mix with a variety of people
- Professionalism, integrity and the ability to build long-term relationships
