**About the role**

You will help nursing staff in hospitals and other health care establishments with non-medical duties including housekeeping, portering patients and general assistance.

The Hospital Assistant supports the delivery of an efficient and effective cleaning service to the patients and facilities within the Bathurst Health Service.

You will need to be reliable, punctual and energetic, physically fit, have a caring and supportive attitude and use your good communication skills to be able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
