**About the Role**:
This role will see you work within our pathology collection unit, where you will be performing venepuncture and other duties pertaining to specimen collecting and haematological investigations. You will be required to participate in a 24/7 roster.

Located in the rolling vineyards of the world-famous Hunter Valley wine country, Muswellbrook is home to a wealth of incredible local produce, as well as community services such as libraires, bars and eateries. Less than a 3-hour drive from Sydney, and less than 2 hours from Newcastle, Muswellbrook is the perfect place to call home

The pathology collection unit operates 6 days per week at Muswellbrook Hospital.

**Requirements**:

- Willingness to participate in a 24 / 7 roster.
- Eligible to drive in NSW and willingness to travel across the district with appropriate notice as per the award.
- Certificate III in Pathology Collections and / or previous experience in venepuncture or a demonstrated ability to learn all aspects of the clinical environment relevant to the department.

**Additional Information**:

- To be eligible for employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or hold an appropriate visa that allows you to live and work in Australia. Employment of a temporary visa holder will only be offered in line with the conditions and expiry date of your visa.
