This role has various Temporary Full Time and Part Time leave relief positions available with varying hours and end dates. The successful applicant will be able to work a 7 day rotating roster inclusive of day, afternoon and night shifts.

As the Operating Theatres Assistant, your responsibilities will include the preparation of operating theatre equipment, transport of patients and equipment, assisting with the transfer, positioning, prepping of patients, cleaning of floors and equipment/furniture, removal of soiled linen and waste, restocking supplies and maintaining safe and hygienic conditions within the operating suite.

Wollongong Hospital, located on Dharawal Country, is the Illawarra Shoalhaven's major referral and teaching hospital and has a bed-base count of more than 500. The campus, which incorporates the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre, provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.
