Large Govt Division requires an experienced Financial Analyst for this varied contract position

**Your new company**

A high focus government organisation located in Parramatta requires an experienced Financial Analyst for an 8 month temporary contract

**Your new role**
- Working closely with senior analysts and management, your key duties will include:

- Monthly Management Reporting
- General Ledger and Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Journals, accruals and prepayments
- Cashflow reporting
- Variance and Expenditure Analysis for stakeholders with commentary
- Assisting with budgets for existing and new projects
- Staff expense analysis
- Liaising with suppliers and stakeholders on accounts related queries
- Support the team throughout audit

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous experience working as a financial analyst in a government or large commercial organisation who manage projects or facilities services would be ideal
- Strong systems skills and ability to use a range of reporting tools
- Extensive reconciliations experience
- Ability to work with various complex projects and support stakeholders with monthly reporting and insights
- Organised and deadline oriented
- Previous experience supporting budgeting processes
