**The role**

An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, flexible, and motivated **Electrical Tradesperson** based at our **Stapylton **site. This is a full time position as an integral member of the team working various shifts across multiple 24hr production facilities.

As part of the maintenance team, our** Industrial Electricians **are critically important in supporting the production crew through both preventive maintenance and breakdown support. As someone who has previous experience working as an **Industrial Electrician in a high volume **manufacturing facility, we expect that you will hold the relevant trade qualifications and be able to demonstrate good communication, problem solving and diagnostic skills.

**Responsibilities**
- Ensure commitment to safety, quality, and the environment
- Carrying out electrical repairs on a range of fixed plant with a particular emphasis on planned and predictive / preventative maintenance.
- Work closely with the Operations team during breakdowns, fault finding and troubleshooting issues
- Effectively respond to callouts and unplanned maintenance in a timely manner, ensuring mínimal downtime
- Maintain PLCs and circuitry
- Carry out inspections, servicing, and repairs in accordance with site requirements.
- Perform major overhauls through various plant shutdowns.
- Focus on continuous improvement ideas.
- Provide direction to contractors and work groups as required.

**What you will need to succeed**
- Trade qualified (Valid unrestricted electrical licence)
- Demonstrated experience working as an Electrician in an industrial environment
- A high level of fault-finding experience
- PLC diagnostic experience
- Basic computer skills
- A confident, self-motivated, energetic individual
- A team player with a high degree of trade flexibility
- Ability to work, at times, autonomously and without direct supervision.
