What's the job?

The Customer Experience team is responsible for delivering all graduation ceremonies across Australia and New Zealand. The Events & Communications Data Analyst role is to support the Events Manager and the broader team in all aspects of data analysis, reporting, graduation preparation and liaising with key stakeholders. This role is hands on, diverse and requires agile thinking. The Events & Communication Data Analyst will be responsible for working with the Student Progressions Team who identify the potential graduates and ensure the database of all graduates for each graduation ceremony.

Day-to-day accountabilities:
- Assist the Events Manager with project management, planning and organisation of all graduations- Support the annual event schedule and manage individual event data.- Maintain accurate records and data capture for all events- Undertake regular process improvement reviews- Manage the events inbox and respond to all enquiries within department guidelines.- Support the Events Manager in managing the eligible graduates through the relevant committees and conferral processes- Ensure graduation documentation is accurate for each student at time of completion/graduation (Higher Education)

This is a permanent role and the preferred location will be Brisbane or Melbourne.

Who you are

To be successful in this role you will be:
- Minimum 1 year's experience as a data analyst within the event industry- Minimum 2 years' experience gained in a large scale, multi-faceted events role- Events qualification or relevant experience- Must have experience working with 'EventsAir' management software.- Strong Microsoft Suite skills especially in Excel (essential)- Verbal and written communication skills combined with an ability to liaise at all levels both internally and externally- Exceptional planning and organizational skills
