Location: Woolloongabba, Queensland Type: Contract Job #17940 We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Project Manager to lead the delivery of a business transformation uplift program within the education sector.
This role will be key in driving organisational change, engaging stakeholders at all levels, and ensuring initiatives deliver measurable improvements to business performance and service outcomes.
As a contract opportunity, we're looking for someone who can step in quickly, take ownership, and add immediate value from day one.
In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing one or more transformation projects from initiation through to completion.
You will work closely with a diverse range of stakeholders and subject matter experts, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to broader program and organisational change objectives.
Key responsibilities Defining project scope, objectives, and transformation deliverables.
Developing detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets that align with business strategy.
Coordinating cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder engagement to drive change adoption.
Monitoring risks, issues, dependencies, and change impacts.
Preparing project status reports and ensuring governance and compliance standards are met.
Driving quality outcomes and embedding continuous improvement into delivery practices.
About you Proven experience delivering complex transformation projects within a program environment.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2, PMP) and change management approaches.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to influence outcomes.
Ability to manage budgets, resources, and competing priorities while keeping business value at the centre.
Adaptable, collaborative, and resilient in dynamic and evolving environments.
Requirements Relevant project management qualifications and/or certifications.
Eligibility to work in Australia and pass pre-employment screening.
A current driver's licence.
