Cheeseville Restaurant is looking for reliable and dedicated Kitchen Staff to join our dynamic team. The Kitchen Staff will be responsible for supporting the kitchen in food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist chefs in food preparation by washing, chopping, and organizing ingredients.
- Follow recipe and preparation standards to ensure consistency and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Ensure food storage areas are clean, organized, and comply with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with stocking and replenishing inventory as needed.
- Help prepare simple food items, such as salads, appetizers, and side dishes.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of dishes.
- Monitor and maintain proper temperatures of food to ensure freshness and safety.
- Assist in the cleaning and closing procedures of the kitchen at the end of each shift.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $23.97 - $32.93 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
