Overview
Fyfe Pty Ltd is recruiting for a Lead Civil Engineer to lead civil infrastructure projects in Victoria. The role offers leadership opportunities and the chance to influence outcomes across the built environment.
What You'll Do
Lead, grow, and inspire a high-performing civil team.
Deliver a diverse portfolio of projects, including carparks, site infrastructure, access roads, drainage, subdivisions, bulk earthworks, stormwater management, pavements and utilities.
Secure new opportunities, identify, tender, and win projects that matter.
Provide technical excellence and assurance across design, engineering drawings, and reports, ensuring compliance with Austroads guidelines, Australian Standards, and industry best practice.
Collaborate with architects, builders, developers, government, and contractors to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.
Mentor, support, and develop your team, creating a culture of collaboration, learning, and performance.
About You
You are an experienced civil engineer who thrives on both leadership and technical delivery. You may be a senior manager with strong industry networks or a rising star seeking a platform to prove yourself. You should bring:
Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering.
Chartered status (or eligibility) with Engineers Australia.
Registered Professional Engineer of Victoria (RPEV).
Demonstrated experience delivering a variety of civil infrastructure projects.
Strong client relationships in the Victorian building and construction sector.
Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and complex project delivery.
Business development skills to grow the pipeline of work.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to balance technical detail and big-picture delivery.
