Waverley Christian College is a forward thinking and culturally diverse Christian co-educational school from Kinder to Year 12.
We have been providing students with a quality Christian educational experience for over 45 years.
With campuses in Wantirna South and Narre Warren South, Waverley Christian College has an enrolment of over 2400 students with 400 staff across both campuses in 2025.
The Wantirna South campus invites applications for a Secondary French Teacher to commence in 2026.
The role is available from 0.4 FTE, with the potential for a higher FTE if you can also teach in other areas of Secondary.

Qualifications
Be a qualified teacher and hold a current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
Have current First Aid qualifications and Anaphylaxis Certificate or be willing to obtain these prior to commencement.
Be able to teach French
Be able to show a commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education.
Be willing to get involved in all aspects of the College's programs and opportunities.
Have high level communication and interpersonal skills.

Our Graduate Teacher Program includes time release, mentoring, equipping for Christian Education and a comprehensive induction program that will help to develop the skills and competencies needed to become an effective classroom practitioner.

Applicants are to include a Resume, Letter of Application, Pastoral Reference Letter and complete the screening questions as part of the application process.
Applicants will also need to provide a list of three referees.
A current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011), CPR Certificate (HLTAID009), and Anaphylaxis Certificate (22578VIC or HLTAID012) are also required prior to starting in the role.
